The New Zealand Defence Industry Association (NZDIA) was formed in 1993 to promote New Zealand defence opportunities. It brings together people from the NZ and international defence industry and is open to any organisation involved in supplying products and/or services to Defence.
The forum was held in the TSB Bank arena on the Queens Wharf in Wellington with 50 exhibitors as well as a variety of award nominations and distinguished guest speakers over the two days. The whole event was an outstanding success with the finale being the Minister of Defence Awards of Excellence to Industry.
This forum allowed Australian Munitions to learn about up and coming projects and new technologies while strengthening its bond with the NZ Defence sector and other associated companies.
The variety of Forum participants and calibre of award nominees was impressive for such a small country and we were proud to be there strengthening our ANZAC relationship.
